The UK
This gorgeous little island may be small, but that doesn't mean that it's not got a lot to offer! Each year around 40 million tourists come over to the UK to explore the bustling cities; stunning scenery; and picturesque countryside. In more recent years (and especially since covid-19) I've had a chance to look around the areas that have always been right on my doorstep, but have often been overshadowed by neighbouring countries. I've visited Wales several times, but never had the opportunity to visit Scotland or Northern Ireland. However, they're both on my list of places to see! My personal favourite UK destinations would probably be; the Cotswolds, an area bursting with quaint villages and rural nature walks; Cornwall, with fantastic beaches and seaside towns; and London, for a never-ending list of attractions and landmarks.
